Recommend an AIO cooler!

Using the aura 360 for my build that I setup ard 8 mths back, so far so good with no issue faced.

What's the advantage of 360 over 240 ? Haha

Bigger surface area and thus can absorb/transfer more heat. Cooling will also be better.

Never used their AIO before, but based on my experience with their air cooler, I feel the quality is just borderline pass. So I won’t recommend buying their AIO. Perhaps you should wait to see other’s experience or opinion as well.

This is overkill man. The peak power for the 5600X is about 100W, which can easily be handled by a 240mm AIO. If the casing permits, a 280mm radiator is better due to bigger fan/ lesser noise, and it cools better than a 240mm AIO.

360 is not much quieter assuming you are using the same fans. On the contrary, it may be noisier due to the use of 3x 120mm fan vs 2 on the 240mm AIO. A 360mm radiator just means more surface area for cooling, which translates to better cooling capability. The fan may not have to run that fast on the 360, but by virtue of an extra fan will increase the decibels by a few points.

NZXT 240 (I7-8700K) idle 35-39
CM 360 (TR4 2950x) idle 35-39
AURA FLOW 240 (I7-2700K) Idle 42-45

Basically, if only normal use all are okay.

Is it the same brand? Generally, its the fan used that is the culprit for the noise. So if you are comparing 2 different brands, then good chance the fan used will be different, which explains the noise reduction.

It is possible for a 360 AIO to be quieter, if the CPU is not running hot. If the fans on both 240 and 360 are running at high RPM, then the 360 will be louder due to the extra fan.

yea I supposed you are right, seldom to have the cpu load for too long, normally just spikes.

Dun anyhow BS la. 5600x stock cooler is wraith stealth, you need 360mm AIO for fk.

Honestly a normal tower cooler like the hyper 212 is fine for a 5600x, even a 240-280mm is kind of overkill.

I just recently bought ID Cooling Zoomflow 240X from Taobao for my fiancee's comp. Bought it at RMB329.00 (roughly $65.80) before shipping.

Then i swap the fans with ID-COOLING DF-12025 ARGB.
Supposedly 56.5CFM and 1.99mmH2O. 900~2000±10%RPM

So far so good ba. Using Ryzen 5 3600. Stock cooler under load was getting close to 80degrees c. Now under load is like 68degrees c max.

Default fans for the ZoomFlow 240X is supposedly
62CFM, 1.78mmH2O, 700～1500±10%RPM.

Am thinking of picking up an AIO cooler as an upgrade. For those who are using an AIO already, which brand would you recommend and how was the ease of install? What temps are you currently getting in our humid weather?

I for one will never like to go argb, creating some heat while running. For most easiest mounting would be the Arctic Liquid freezer II 280 or 360. if you really need argb, go for EKWB EK-AIO 360 both not using the Asetek mechanism.
