By the way, I just checked that I bought my Edifier R1850DB last April.

Didn't realise that I've been using it for more than a year. I am enjoying it and it's definitely a great buy for me. I also paired it with T5 subwoofer on their launch price last year so it's a decent combo in my opinion.

Bros, I don't know much about audio specs or quality at all, I have a max budget of $25, but I'm willing to stretch to $30 if its worth it. Any consumer grade desktop speakers within that budget to recommend? My monitor does not have speakers, so I just need something good enough to watch youtube when I'm too lazy to put headphones on.

I'll add that my pc is Bluetooth compatible, so either Bluetooth or USB options are fine.

Speaker for desktop wise best use wired than BT, if you can stretch to $39 you can get
Logitech Z313 from Harvey Norman with warranty.
If not you can consider second hand sets but take note of any wear and tear of the speaker.

Second hand Logitech Z313 cost around $30 so I recommend get a new one.
If 2.1 is not your liking than you can consider Logitech Z120 2.0.
Difference between 2.0 and 2.1 is with sub, bass would be stronger and deeper.

At this Magical Price of $25 to $30
You can get Logitech Z120 ~$19

Hello guys, gonna be moving out soon so was thinking why not change my audio setup.

Currently been using the swans M10 for 5-7 years. serves its purpose. was previously using aego M but died so just wanted to get a cheaper alternative back then.

Coming back, so toying with the idea to just change my setup. Was thinking if I should even try to get a used aego M off carousell? or get a new set off lazada? Sub $100 vs $280. my quips with the aego M is the lack of separate volume controller (which can be overcome by setting a nice volume and adjusting in windows volume and also really the case for the swans M10 but cannot be bothered due to my current space limitation, the woofer is on my table). Really love the size of the aego M and the looks. the newer aego 3 pales in comparison.

Or will i be better off getting some of the newer speakers available on the market with the $100-200 range? compare to my younger days, i listen to my music/spotify alot lesser. mainly just watching netflix or youtube (which might be even lesser since i'll be moving to a place of my own) and i do game a fair bit using a pair of wireless headset. Any 2.0 or 2.1 that i should really look at? Also won't be considering a 5.1 at the moment.

So, which do you guys think I should get? Or just save myself the money and continue using the swans M10 until they kaput?

All advices welcome. Just want to know my options before I make a decision.

Can consider the new Logitech Z407 which was released last year. ($149)

Wireless remote, small footprint, balanced sound.
For movies 2.1 would be better than 2.0, effects like rumble subwoofer can produce clearly
unlike 2.0 speakers.

Just got the T60.

Really used up all the ports behind. Haha. It will use up one USB-C connection though.

I find that it is probably between T20 and T100 in terms of quality.
One thing I don't like is that the sound seemed to be very narrow. If you put on table top, I think can miss your ears a little. I tend to point them to the side of the room and let the sound bounces off the walls.

But the functionality of easy switching for speakers / Headphone is a charm (If you require this).
And also the 1 button clear speech is also very very good. I use it to watch those movies where you always cannot hear what the people are saying clearly one. Then just switch it off when I am listen to music.

imho old T20/T40 are still better.
T60/T100 no Bass/Treble Control.

T60/T100 don't even have a tweeter anymore, why bother the bass/treble control.

Creative is transitioning towards becoming a Bose.

can i ask if this speakers have a bass control at the subwoofer? or its just volume control only? thanks.

Eh keep in mind T60 doesn't support 24 bit output, I tested it with the USB c direct connection to my pc. A bit disappointed.

I think this is the only downside.. their new range of products are epic and super good for the money.

I think the new X4 audio interface is also a must get.

Hi off the top of my head I believe only function of subwoofer are volume control, power button and can connect earpiece, definitely no bass control.
