You have to test, JBL 104 is a reference studio monitor meant for recording usage.
I would recommend Edifier bookshelf over this.

Grab Edifier e25HD.

Then next question somebody will ask is whether e25HD or R1850DB better

Or even Hivi D1100 at $149

For $80 2.0 speakers tho we don't really get much choices. While personally I would need speakers better than that price point, I understand not everyone wants to spend that much on speakers.

Depends on Space.
If space not an issue of cos I will say go for R1850DB.
Want smaller size of cos need to pay more for lesser quality.

$80 is not a sweet spot for price performance.
Usually $200-$300 is the sweet spot.
Anything higher the improvement will be decreasing return to scale.

In the end you happy can liao.
Just don't expect under $100 to "WoW!" you.

G2000 you need to buy a rojak sub woofer.

I finally got the Logitech G560 because of the LED lightsync. LOL!

This video kind of convinced me to get this.



Also, there was an offer at about $189 awhile back on Lazada, so decided to just get it.

You are paying for the RGB Lights.
Soundwise Edifier sure win.

Try not to buy Logitech gaming speaker, only paying for LED and LED sync technology.. sound is bad bad bad.. buy their mouse keyboard and other product but not speaker please

Sound quality is decent, Their strong point is decent sound quality, updated connectivity options in newer devices such as BT-5, USB-C, Cross platform compatibility. They also have SoundBlaster software on mobile and desktop. They are heading in a new direction I believe.

Amazing sound quality which is their strong point. Usually their connectivity options are bluetooth, coaxial, optical, aux, rca, it highly depends on the model you purchase. Users that want to connect the speaker directly to their computer might find lacking of USB connection an issue. Besides that, most of their speakers have remote control too.

3.5mm cable is still better for PC, direct from sound card you are do EQ, surround effects etc.
If use USB cable for some speaker, for example Logitech Z407.
Sound is decent but it is using the speaker own DSP for sound.

Not to forget if you want to switch between headphone and speaker, only if you
use sound card but not USB it will auto toggle.
*Correct sound card must be installed, Windows update driver may install a incompatible audio driver
thus jack sensing won't work properly.

Optical and RCA are for TV, DVD player or game console since they don't use 3.5mm jack for audio.

Yeah, I would only use 3.5mm only for those reasons. Also, connecting directly to onboard sound is a big red flag for many people including me.

When I use 3.5mm, I will connect to an external audio interface, the interface will have their own applications for whatever effects you wanna use. It's going to be a way better experience IMO.

Otherwise, I will just use USB if have.... nowadays onboard usb ports especially those gen 2 ones have decent power output, some speakers design to take advantage of it.

If you don't have desk space, at least make enough space for iLoud as that is the smallest speaker that sounds proper. Anything else is a compromise between sound quality and space or $$$.

Creative Roar in stereo mode maybe can work? But the speakers themselves stop working when their battery spoil.
