I went down today the sales staff recommended LG and Mitsubishi instead. The LG is GB-B3449PZ while Mitsubishi is MR-CGX41EN. Kinda set my mind on Hitachi
R-BG415P6MSX but the sales staff raised a valid concern. The interior walls are rough unlike the usual glossy and smooth, which seems to be easily stained.
From a user like my wife, not an issue.
Only issue is the side panel for eggs and stuff, can easy dislodged by ME.
The bottom freezer is quite a huge capacity.
Depends on one usage as well.

It is slender and tall.
So your height must be cleared.
We factored in the space required for side ventilation as well, so only this fit our requirement.
Samsung, barely can fit.

Hi, still waiting for response from parisilk. Those who got the hitachi r-bg415p6msx, any idea if there will be an issue if the socket is 10cm above the fridge?

No problem la. Wire should be long enough.
Last is to relocate the wall socket.
You can call them to speed it up if you are in a rush.

Is there any issue with the seals of your fridge such that cool air is escaping out?

hi, does anyone know where to source for a set of door seal/gasket for Hitachi R-D6800X fridge? Found water droplets/condensation around the door frame since 2~3 months ago. Most likely the seals/gaskets are failing. Quite a waste to replace this 5yo ~$4600 Japan made fridge just because of defective seals/gaskets. Hitachi SG quoted >$700 for seals/gaskets replacement, which I think is too much. Thx in advanced!
