just need to unlock your phone and tap. of course nfc must be on and gpay must be set up with bank card first. usually nfc won't drain battery so much, so I myself just leave it on.

not really that important unless your telco is m1, the other telcos have 2 other lte bands that china set rn8 can use while m1 only has 1. anyway, 4g coverage in sg is generally pretty good, and 3g is still adequate.

Is there any heating issue when using note 8 pro to play games. I keep seeing conflicting reviews regarding this issue. Some reviews clock it at 40 degrees, some say max 45 degree and some showing hitting 50 degree.

Reviewers can reside in different place so the ambient temperature may be different. Even in Singapore you may get different results when the air-con is on or off. Usually you can take the high end of the values which is 50 degree C for outdoor use in Singapore.

All in all it will get hot when playing games -- price to pay for using MTK processor.

I read some testing results from Chinese website playing 王者荣耀 which is not that demanding yet the phone reaches 47 degree C in an air con room at about 25 degree C ambient temperature. Then the phone hits 67 degree C during Antutu benchmark testing.

From what I read that SD730G thermal is better than the MTK P90T. And real world performance is also comparable or better even though the benchmark may be lower.

Maybe Kirin 810 is even better?

Anyway, probably I am too biased against MTK but I just do not buy any phones with MTK CPU, too many negative comments in the past.
