I have a friend who recommended me a brand called Grunn. Have any used before? She said the robot comes with a mapping system and it cleans the house very well.
I actually wanted to get a Xiaomi Gen1 at first but realized it only has a single brush and there are no mopping function.I won't recommend a vacuum without LIDAR since it really helps the robot plot course and clean better. You can take a look at Xiaomi's first gen robot vacuum. It should be going for about 300 and it cleans very well.
As for this brand, I don't recommend. Not because I have any experience with them, but because this looks like one of those dodgy companies that tries to use some fancy European names to cover the fact that the products are MIC. I had a poor experience with another brand where the product failed after 1 use, and only lasted for 15 mins. I had to go to some shared/ rental office to drop the product, and thank God I still managed to get my refund.

My friend actually shared with me about the laser light function but in the end she got both the Xiaomi and Grunn model with Gyroscope Zigzag Navigation or something.
Have you tried the cleaning effectiveness of this type of robot?
Ok thanks for the insight. I'll take a look at the demo of both brands in SITEX next week and will do a review again.Despite having a single side brush, the Xiaomi gen 1 robot is more effective than the new robot vacuum I bought with 2 side brushes. That one side brush is programmed to speed up when the bot is cleaning near any walls or around obstacles. You may find it perplexing from what I said, and will understand better if you can see it in action.
As for mopping, I bought the 360 S6 Robot vacuum as a replacement. It comes with 2 side brushes and mopping feature. After using it for about 3 months, I don't quite fancy the mopping feature because it seems to leave a lot of hair around. The programming is quite poor and the bot tend to mop over hair which gets stuck on the floor or on its brush because it is wet. I tried running the bot without the mop and it is more effective at picking up hair. As mentioned earlier, the 2 side brushes are spinning at a low speed all the time, so is not as effective as the 1 side brush on the Xiaomi which is superior in terms of edge cleaning, i.e. near walls.

Agree with you. I saw this brand at SITEX and I thot they might be legit since Metro carries their products and they promoted their products as "designed in germany" but if u look up their brand on Google there aren't any search results on them aside from their dodgy website..which also has a brand "Harumi" which is apparently from 'Japan'. :/
After some comparisons, I nearly got an Ecovacs laser model but went for Grunn's i6-Gyrobot with Gyroscope mapping and app control in the end as they offered me bundle deal i could not refuse with their induction / ceramic cooker and digital air fryer. Also there was a customer at the booth who had good feedback on the robot. When they say design in Germany or any country, that is a give away that this is neither a Germany brand, nor is it made in Germany. My take is save yourself the trouble and not go for dodgy brands to save a little money. If the item fails and you cannot get a replacement/ refund, the money is 100% lost.

They are very upfront and honest about the pros and cons of their vacuum and that the brand is only trademarked and imported from Germany but is not made in Germany. So after some conversation with the manager, he managed to convince me of their after service and product quality. Also i do think their brand and company are legit as their company has been operating for around 20 years and they have quite a big range of products.
Anyway so far the robot has been working perfectly as they have described and it's really an effective cleaning machine. My wife and I are very happy with it. Hope it can last for long. They will deliver the cooker and air fryer after i finish my reno. So no comments for now.

Any further feedback after using for a few months now? I am also looking for a robotic vacuum and mopping machine.
