Fold was never meant to be cheap in the first place

There is a dedicated cover from Huawei for it's X... very nice too...

Apple adverse to risk... as always... they can afford it cos people buy into their premise... but with these devices already so expensive, I don't really see a space for such an Apple product... unless they are prepared to keep their pricing competitive even if they have a product that performs better than the rest in terms of the folding mechanism and screen technology...

Anybody getting ready for the Galaxy Fold? I predict the price to be S$2980 in singapore when it launches? 26th Apr 2019 to be the date it launches?

I was quite tempted to get the Fold, but suspect 1st gen to have some teething problem, plus gonna be quite ex as well. I decided to get the S10+ instead and wait for 2nd or 3rd gen foldies before jumping on the bandwagon.

Europe release 3rd May...
