anyone here is a frequent user of the S-pen (stylus)?

do u usually write when placing your phone on a desk?

i noticed that my palm often hit the Back button of then phone when writing...and the process of writing was interuptted....quite frustrating

I thought when the s pen is in use, the soft keys will automatically be deactivated to prevent accidental presses. Or is that firmware-dependent?

if I remember correctly, Samsung has this feature in-built into Note 2, which will deactivate finger inputs once you pull out the S-pen, or the S-Pen is hovering within certain distance from the phone...

but i think it only works with certain apps, probably S Note

one way to work around it would be to root NOTE II... unrooted only accept up to 32GB i think...

currypig... the quick glance using the S-PEN is quite sensitive. just hover the tip of the S-pen very near to the screen over your SMS or emails, a preview screen should pop up.

otherwise, try it while you press and hold the S-Pen button, while you hover.

Nope, it should be able to use 64GB even unroot.
The problem lies with the card, those SDXC cards are known to have lots of problems, especially the 64GB ones.

pffffft the OTA update really isn't that great. Battery life has taken a hit. Previously it was stellar, now its merely good-ish. Any way to revert to the old firmware?

hey thanks for the reply, actually i was referring to the quick glance at the locked screen. I saw from youtube, jus need to swipe ur palm from the top to cover the LED light, the screen will light up showing the time and messages.

Turning the phone to silent will mute the shutter sound. So far what I know. Not sure if there is other way.

Class 10? You need to format the SDXC into FAT32 format. Try using a program like EaseUs Partition Master. Mine is working perfect!

You can use your sandisk 64gb class 10 off the box. No need to reformat.

I'm staying in yishun too and i'm getting 4g network on my phone. Like a shiok!
