Previously in Note 2, there was a settings widget. From there, you can choose data usage, so that you can view your data usage directly and conveniently from the home screen.

I notice that Note 3 does not have the settings widget.

Using telco app very incovenient, have to use internet to refresh the info.

Checking data usage from settings also very mafan, have to click click click.

Has anyone found a way to get around this?

TIA.

I use 3g call meter as a widget. For calls and data

just bought note 3 early this morning. and here's my little review so far.

The phone itself
- Screen is majestic and classy the cover feels good to hold and grip as well no problem whatsoever compared to note 2.

Inside the phone.
- Battery is harder to remove compared to note 2.

- Sim card and microsd slot is now together in one place on top of each other. don't really like it

- Sim card slot doesn't have to springy click anymore and its hard for my big thumb/fingers to remove them.

- same goes for microsd slot the spring is gone...i liked it...

The packaging.

- USB 3 charger build feels a bit cheap the top part/head part however you call it might break due to accident in my opinion.

- USB 3 cable is extremely short at first but after carefully comparing it with note 2 cable it is actually the same length.

- The S pen...not sure if its me but it doesn't work as smooth as note 2 pen some area just feels empty sometimes...heard a patch/firmware already released for it?

AND The S pen is difficult to remove compared to note 2/ note 8. but i guess is to prevent it from dropping after long use.

- Software feels like there bunch of stuff to explore and too many unwanted app to be honest but i guess in the long run i will remove them one by one to my liking.

found solution: go play store app, setting --> App manager --> play store --> clear data --> clear cache. Able to update/download apps.
