Its really hell lot of faster searching on internet for answers to problems like this rather than asking here for help.
Congrats on your purchase, bro
Received my watch 5 44mm korean set ordered from qoo10. Delivery took exactly 1 week. Finished setting up and did some installing of apps and basic testing. Summary based on my short use of the watch so far
- First and foremost, the watch's charger is usb c and i do not have any plugs, adapters or portable battery bank that supports usb c. Have to go and purchase a usb c to a adapter. For now, i have to do reverse charging from phone to watch.
- Google wallet works. App wasn't installed on the watch by default but pretty simple process to install, setup and link a card as long you already have google wallet installed and setup on your phone.
- Google assistant isn't installed on the watch by default and its not found on the watch's playstore even though i have it installed and working on my phone. Officially, wear os google assistant still not supported in singapore but can be sideloaded using adb.
- ECG and BP functions not working as i am not using samsung phone. But there's a mod on xda forums which would activate the 2 functions on non-samsung phones.
Have not tested those exercise tracking functions at all so can't comment whether they are accurate. Currently still waiting for my tempered glass and case to arrive from china before i dare to use the watch for working out.
Overall, paid about $260+ for the export set which is more than $100 cheaper than a local warranty set. Was actually waiting for Pixel watch but was put off by the price and lack of innovation it has over the other smart watches in the market.
Can't comment on battery life since i only received it yesterday. Charged it to full and after setting up and playing around with it abit, its currently down to 70+%. Definitely need a few more charges to optimize the battery and for the software to learn my usage habits. Would recommend going for the 5 Pro if you are really particular about battery life. I have seen some 5 pro owners claiming they get about 3-4 days of use on a single charge. In comparison, reviews of Pixel watch confirms its terrible battery life with the need to charge on daily basis for folks who do sleep tracking.Same, am looking at watch 5 instead of Google watch. How's the battery life so far on your 44mm?

I set the double click of the top button to open gpay and tap.5 pro is way too chunky for my liking, so still considering the 44mm. Can I check if anyone used g pay on watch for transport? Can you just tap the watch or need to open the wallet before tapping?
