My Samsung 32N71 LCD TV is already in used for 5.5 yrs and still going strong. It may be due to higher end model at that time (as compared to R and S series) and panel is Samsung panel.

However, will not be getting Samsung again if the current one spoil.

Sony TV is not in consideration as well since having experiences on facing defects after about 2.5 to 3 yrs of usage.

Either your antenna (indoor?) is not receiving enough signal for the TV or your TV tuner is faulty.

Borrow thread..
Random blue artifacts and under saturated tint over original picture.

Defects only thru hdmi (old lcd, 1x hdmi port only). Thru AV and VGA is fine. Tried different players, different hdmi cables all cannot.

Could it be circuit board issue (gone case) or hdmi port pin misalignment or broken (can diyfix)?

Bought a year ago means still cover under warranty.
Call out Samsung to send their service man to check your TV.

Ehh back when my 40inch samsung LCD spoil right. I call them down Juz 1 mth b4 warranty end. And I dub even have the warranty card anymore. They check from their side the serial number. They came and say my tv parts no more. Cannot be repaired. So they say they will give me a cheque for the refund of the tv. But got depreciation. I bought the tv for 2499 and they refund me 2074. I only use the tv for 35mths. Super awesome lol.

Super awesome + 1
With the refund of about 2.1k, you can buy a new and bigger TV plus have some spare cash for others.

My case is Samsung 40" LCD TV found faulty within the first year and repaired twice also can't get it fit. Finally Samsung replaced a newer model TV. Your case is refund. Good!

My 7yr old Bravia sudden had this problem too! Top 20% of the screen is fuzzed, liked there is some disconnect & really slow speed and the prob is "permanent" not like what the 10s prob the TS experienced.

Because of this, I decided to buy a new TV, cos I guess the repair is not going to be worth the money & effort.

update...
After installing my new TV, the old Bravia zonked!
Wonder how much the karang Guni man will pay for this gone case set

update...
the karang Guni man took it away for $2 :(

Incapabilities of Samsung TV technician

Hi,
last Wed my Samsung tv has some problem with the sensor,so i called up to the support centre and they send their technician to my house.
But after changing a couple of parts, the problem still persist,so they decided to bring the tv back to workshop.Until yesterday, they return the tv to me and it works fine.
Then this morning the problem come back again ,,they dont seems to understand how to fix my tv.
And their technician are only able to come tomorrow.:s22:

My questions are,is there any department i can lodge a complaint regarding this issue?
Can i lodge a report to CASE?

Thanks

You can call their customer service hotline and ask them to transfer your call to the technical department. Just request to speak to their manager first before going up all the way to CASE.

I feel it is somehow quite unreasonable to expect them to come immediately after u made a complaint.A one day wait is acceptable. Imagine samsung technician suppose to come tmr and while waiting for them, they call u and inform u that they cant made it because they need to fix someone whose tv is bigger..If samsung still do the servicing and repairing under the warranty period, there is nothing CASE can do.

I guess the problem of your tv is much complex since it had been repaired and unable to fix, recently there was a incident where a owner managed to claim 80% back of the tv price after using for 2.5 years as Samsung is unable to fix it and find a replacement set.Quite worth it as tv price drop a lot now.

I empathise with ur situation but from ur description, Samsung has responded positively and is trying to repair ur TV. If u're still unhappy....just take it up with Samsung management.....though I personally feel that is no case for CASE to take up....for now.

Yesterday i requested them for a 1 to 1 exchange so they send a technician to my house n take a picture of my receipt to be submitted for 1 to 1 exchange approval, and promise will let me know the status by today.
Then i waited until 4pm and no one yet to call me so i call them la,and the their reply was"the approval would take 2-3 weeks for them to processed".Talk about efficiency...

this is the problem of my tv :s22:

Keep us updated, at least we know what Samsung is going to do to your tv.

I will say 2 ~ 3 weeks of waiting is a bit long.Especially remote controll is so important.

Best is refund u the money .
