how difficult is it to waive the AF for this card? i tried to waive via phone banking and was told this card is not eligible. :s11:

So far no issue for the past few years. Hope they not changing their policy. You can try call in to speak to cso.

Quite difficult. We requested for waiver and was not approved. I checked online that spendings above 5 or 6k can get a waiver and called in to ask. They don't seem to believe and after many days then waive for us. I asked through pm and they said waive by goodwill but when I probed further, the cso finally said the minimum spending i mentioned is correct. I can't rem e exact amt. You can try to search for it from the singpost website.

Based on transaction posted by the usual statement date I think, which could, or could not be your activation date. Better call and ask.

My Annual Fee request has always been automatically granted everytime i do it via the automated hotline. This time is the first time the request has been rejected outright. Thinking to call the CSO but it's my wife card, and my wife doesn't know anything about talking to them (she's not comfortable) because all credit card sign up and handling was done entirely by me on her behalf. Do they accept request via secure message in internet banking?

If not i guess have to call them and pretend that i'm the "wife" lol.

p/s - the annual spending is the card is at least 10k although most of it is ehem ehem, lol

no need to pretend. call in, ask wife to authenticate, wife tells CSO to speak to u. Can do.

else, send secure email also can, then see how they respond.

Haha. That's what my hb told me to do. Call and pretend I am him but anyone with ears know that I'm a female!

it seems automated hotline doesn't accept waiver request for singpost card. keep saying the card is not eligible. dropped them a message today and see how it goes..

Hehe, i did it once on her behalf before. The CSO does pause for a while (perhaps he's shocked that i'm a female speaking with a male voice but with a female name), however he did not question me further as i was able to answer all the security question correctly (i was the one who sign up for her afterall)

I guess it's okay as long as you can answer all the verification question correctly, they wont care whether you have a male or a female voice. What if i REALLY am a female with a "male-ish" voice? I would feel offended if the CSO question my sex integrity lol.

SCB has no integrity. Website say no fees for transferring shares into SCB but end up charges fees for it. I called in many times to complain then they say credit back the fees to me, without any sign of apology. Their officers are clueless about the fees and paperwork also says no fees charged. Hopeless bank.

For online spend rebate, does it count if buy from Qoo10 or Hachi Tech (the new challenger store online)? Thinking of buying laptop online rather than waiting for expo.
