bluestacks runs like **** on low power celeron.

check your motherboard bios. you might be able to reduce tdp to 35w

ryzen 2500u mini pc is 15w, if u can still find..
Saw a few options with 5300u or 5500u on Taobao , those are 15tdp as well but just not sure how efficient they are… hoping if anyone doing the same as me in this forum with one of these cpu

it runs fine. same performance as 4/6 core intel gen 10 / 65w ryzen desktop

Ya I saw this…. My understanding is 5500 runs at 2.1ghz and if needed it will go up to 4ghz but that also means higher tdp…. But from some reviews seems like it wouldn’t hit 65w…. Moreover u series comes with gfx where 2600 doesn’t
Btw are u trying to tell me 2600 is more efficient? Anyway I just want a mini pc to run 4 bluestack with the lowest watt

My understanding is 5500 runs at 2.1ghz and if needed it will go up to 4ghz but that also means higher tdp….
2.1ghz is the minimum guaranteed all-core frequency when operating at the rated tdp of 15w, though in real world scenarios it will usually clock higher than that depending on ur thermal solution and voltage tuning. the listed 4ghz refers to the max turbo frequency of one core, where the cpu is using its whole power budget for just one core and not splitting it across multiple cores, so generally u should see a lot higher clocks for that core when running cinebench single thread vs multithread for example.

5500u is a 15w part, which is a fifth of the rated tdp of the 2600. for the desktop 2600, an all core workload when given sufficient cooling it will pull about 80w. for the 5500u, due to other design constraints like battery life considerations and less thermal headroom, will generally operate closer to the rated tdp of 15w, though laptop vendors may allow it to consume up to 25w for a short duration before dropping down to 15w or indefinitely. with both putting out basically identical scores but the 5500u using significantly (at least 70%) less power, i think its pretty obvious which one is more efficient.

Ya now I see 5650ge single core speed bench mark wins for a 35w…. It’s even faster than 3xxx desktop cpu at 65w…. Very tempting to get the Lenovo m75q now

Apparently not like that count one… the single core speed determines the performance of the vcore…. Example a cpu with 6 core @4ghz runs better than a 8core @3.5ghz

Sorry don’t understand you but I could run 4vcore 4gb ram x4 instance on my 3600 but once I run the 5th it starts to become sluggish

Hands down the best budget build I've seen since the GPU crisis hit us, really well done!
