occasional teething issues are fine. but no usable internet for more than 72 hours now already. and they took more than 12 hours to reply my multiple emails once a day. no hot line to call, gave them my number and begged them to contact me for quicker liaising also refused. refused to send someone down to check and verify, fix the issue even when I offered to pay.

i tried,
1. turning off and on the modem and router
2. plugging out and in lan cable
3. tried plugging lan cable directly from modem to desktop

nothing worked. it took multiple refreshing of browser to barely load speedtest the day before and it showed like 0.2mbps of speed. i have had positive experience with their mobile since TPG days till now. but didn't expect their broadband to screw up such big time with no customer support.
Ok, more than 72 hrs with no tech/cs support is too long... jialat. Now I got dilemma whether to sign up or just wait and see after contract expires next month...
If sign with other isp then will be locked for another 2yrs.

If you do not mind using an ONR, then you can go with Whzicomms 2.5Gbps, same price at S$21.80 per month, 12 months contract.

94 hours now.

2 yrs actually not too bad. SIMBA already 12 months contract with no hotline to call, support email reply once a day, provide 0 technical support and literally dont give a damn about you and worst you have to pay 6 months subscription in advance. unless you really need that 2.5gbps, otherwise currently in the market only Starhub is offering fees wavier on installation/activation with 1gbps at $39/month only. i am seriously considering that if they allow me to self collect and self install so that i can have access to internet asap.
too bad whizzcomm wont waive the fees, otherwise would have gone for that too.

Not possible for any ISPs charging 20++ for a 12-month contract to waive all the fees.

All ISPs need to pay 13.50/mth to Netlink Trust per user, IMDA regulate this pricing. At 20/21 dollars, it gives them a secured margin (after NLT fees) of around 80 dollars. If you are comparing to some ISPs charging 40 dollars over a 2-year contract, that secured margin can easily be 600 dollars, which means they can offer all the free routers, installation fees waiver etc......... There is no free lunch, everything is either priced in because the monthly rate is high or not priced in at all.

This is Seedly most recommended broadband based on customer preference. MyRepublic is the best, Whizcomms is second best.

With that said, please take MyRepublic recommendation with a pinch of salt cos it's 2k+ reviews while the rest have less than 200 reviews.

This is quite far from reality 😂 all things considered, price, customer service, public IPv4, Ipv6 availability and reliability
