How do you all activate the sim card? I keep pressing the activate sim card button in the app but nothing leh.

Simba app, its on the front page where you key in your mobile number to login.

Clicking also does nothing for me.

I followed the instruction on this page.

How long do you guy receive the confirmation email? I have signed up a line this morning but have not heard anything since.

It's strange to do that in 2022.

i got email immediately after signup with singpass + payment

but my sim card is by postage, so email got or not doesn't make a difference
Need to know what's going on after signing up right?

A simple email really helps. At least we know what to expect next.

Ok, seems like TPG support found the issue why my line cannot work in Batam. The TPG APN still has the APN set for internet and needs to be changed to TPG.

Changed the APN to TPG and internet connection still works in SG. Will test it out next time I am in Batam.

How long do you guy receive the confirmation email? I have signed up a line this morning but have not heard anything since.

It's strange to do that in 2022.
after signing up, take the necessary documents to a sim card collection point to get the sim card. when done, the countdown starts, usually within the next business day or 2, the number will be ported over to simba/tpg.

I vaguely recall now that I've had issues before swapping the SIM card to another device where the APN did not update itself automatically & I had to manually change it to TPG. Good thing to keep in mind moving forward as the first troubleshooting step :ROFLMAO:

Anyone using a external hotspot device that works with TPG ?
I have used this on mobile WiFis before with no issue. Although on an really old TP Link MiFi, network shows as 'Unknown' :sleep:

52510 (SIMBA/TPG Telecom) started operations not long ago, that's why it shows Unknown for 52510.

Took a week to get a response from tpg support after email-ing support as well as contacting & replying to their facebook page admin. seems like they are having problems handling a flood of new sign-ups, going by the complaints on their facebook page
