Asiaone said:SINGAPORE - SingTel mobile customers experienced difficulty making calls and accessing the 3G network yesterday and today.
Customers experienced this largely when in the Central Business District (CBD).
In a statement to AsiaOne, the telco company said "a software glitch" was the source of the problem.
SingTel's network engineers have begun to restore services from 8pm this evening.
Apologising to their customers, SingTel said it will keep them updated.
Customers are advised to switch to the 2G network to continue using voice, SMS and data services if they still face temporary downtime.
In an email to AsiaOne, Ms Cally Chen said she did not have any SingTel coverage when she was in the CBD area since Tuesday, September 6.
When she called the customer service hotline, the officer said that the problem would persist for a second day.
"This is so inconvenient for the SingTel users!"
If you don't know how iPhone warranty works. Then don't any how say luh.. iPhone can be exchanged 1 to 1 at telcos, but the exchanged set is a refurbished set. Telcos will collect the spoiled set and send back to apple whom will repair and fix in new parts, thereafter change the serial number, rebox and send out to any telcos, but is classified as refurbished set.
TS: You can go back to the hello shop that you purchased together with your receipt to get change for a brand new set.
nowaday telcos does not provide 1 to 1 exchange anymore.
It's still 1 to 1 where your phone is exchanged for a refub phone, unless you don't know what 1 to 1 meansIf you don't know how Apple work, then don't any how say luh ...
All iphones are assembled in China by Foxconn. Apple is the developer of iphone (software) and not in the business of repairing phones (hardware). All damaged phones are outsourced to 3rd party repairer locally.

hey guys, i got the refurbished iphone 4 abt 4 mths back because of the home button thats not responsive. but now, this "new"phone seems to have some problems again! my warranty ends in 2 days... but i dun have enough "evidence" to proof that its not very responsive. it's not that bad, but i don't know if it can last for another year? do they need to really see the problem - home button unresponsive, before changing?
If my phone drop in water and no longer working, how much must I pay to repair/exchange? If exchange, will I get a new or refurbished set?
Yeah but if still cannot work after trying the rice method, what should I do?
so singtel dun do replacement set for water dmg sets ?
apple do it for a premium of $350 .. ++ gst should be 370-380+/- ~
i'd a question to ask :
if i purchase a ip4 from a forum bro here . his set is telecom set .
if the phone got problem can i just go down to the respective service center to service the phone ? with my ic ~?
I did a 1 to 1 exchange in StarHub. You still can do it.
