Hi, very new to this SJ4000 action cam..
I have heard rumours that a new model will be coming out soon that comes with Wifi.
Isit true?

I also heard that it may be using other chipset brand which will definitely has impact on the video quality.
I was informed from May about the line up but till now factory cannot show me any sample.

I loss my anticipation on this instead I am developing new line up.
Using Ambarella A7L and branded Cmos sensor, wifi, 1080p 60 frames.
Equivalent to gopro hero 3+ Silver.

Trying to work on the cost to be affordable but could be in range of SGD$269

If my guess is correct the wifi version will use SUNPLUS chipset.
Big company but new player in the DVR market.
Current SJ4000 is using Novatek chipset, a veteran player in DVR market.

Both are big and listed company.;)

Ambarella chipset is more advance than its competitor.
If I am right, they are the only company currently offer 4K recording for action camera. that is their A9 chipset.

I was reading somewhere else that the manufacturer had given a brand name (SJCAM) for their cam so that their original can be easily identified. So is there any difference between SJCAM and POSH?

our POSH camera is using NTK chipset and Apina cmos AR0330
These combination are the best in low cost entry level action camera.
These solution is readily available as it was developed earlier for car DVR.
It has been available way before SJ4000 was born.

You can check with them which chipset they use.
If they say they are original, does that mean the factory developed or R&D the solution for NTK+AR0330? :D
With this they claim they are the original?

From day 1 we never claim we are the original cause SJ4000 is a copy of gopro by adapting NTK and Apina solution which are already available in the Car DVR application.

We created POSH so that we can distinguished our products from other importers.

To serve our customers better, We are happy till date we believe POSH is the only camera available on retails.
Rest assured that your warranty and serviced will be covered.

@sinmarket: do you have a booth at the Comex 2014?

sorry we do not have.
The booth too expensive for us and camera margin too thin.

We are having promotion from today onwards.
I will show the poster shortly.

Please look out on the other folder.

Hi, I tested the video recording with Cyclic Record set to Off.

But the video taken does not come in 1 file but split into random video files of random duration of 5 secs to 90 secs.

See above.

Any suggestions?

Edit : Found the answer, need to turn of motion detection

Sometime this is because of the mSD card.
The speed of mSD card to slow.
The video file too big for the card speed to accept thus the video is recorded in different segment.

we strongly recommend class 10 for all action camera.
Best get reputable brands and reputable source as there are many fake mSD card around.

Using a class 10 mSD card from transcend. No problem after I turn off the motion detection.

1 question - Where do we go for warranty and servicing?
What is the address of the service centre?
