I took three heavy dairy based meals a day at that time as fast and nutritious meals. Soon I experienced bloatedness and symptoms I read later as lactose intolerance. I didn't have diarrhea because I was taking a good probiotic daily. The gas has no smell but there were way too much in the whole Gut. It affects my appetite and energy level because what was eaten cannot be properly digested and absorbed. I observed for a while and also see a doctor (I didn't mention my diet at that time, so the doctor didn't know how to find the cause, she suspect diabetes, later the blood tests were all normal). After a while, I suspect it was lactose intolerance, and I took a good lactase tablet with my heavy dairy based meals each time, within a day, my symptoms where all gone and appetite signals back to normal.First time I hear, how you know your sleep issue is coz of lactose intolerance?

exercise hard at night? knock yourself out?Nowadays I feel sleepy when it's just 8 plus 9pm. Don't know if it's coz older now. Last time can sleep for 8 hours or more. Now if I go to bed earlier, I wake up after a few hours then cannot sleep. If I went gym or v tired from work, can sleep for only an hour or two hours more.
I try taking melatonin but don't really work after a while. Anyone like that also? Any suggestion?

Funny thing ish the sinsei said my body too heaty gave me herbs to cool down body. Then ML sez my body too cold gave me massage to warm up body. Who ish right sia?Do not eat too heavy at night. Go see Chinese physician. They will adjust your body

I bath cold water for few years. No sickness so far.I don't go. I prefer bathe in cold water, esp when weather is so hot. Just tried a glass of warm milk. I gonna try to sleep now. Hope can sleep for at least 5 hours.

In range of 40s to 50s. still quite fit for age... abit prediabetic based on last test result. Trying to eat clean also...not easy.what's your age? and BMI? Probably can check for prediabetic or sleep apnea.
According to experts nowadays, likely you're getting insulin resistance, which will progress as you aged.
One way is to restrict your diet, and try to eat "clean" whole food, instead of processed carbs...lots of information around nowadays.
I see. what kind of exercises? i also scared sustain injury if do too intense exercise. you take care Injuring ankle is no joke, affect mobility.because ur body not enough blood circulation. blood circulation remove inflammation and clear toxins off ur body, making u feel better...
i know this because when I'm able to go for my 3x a week jogging, i slp better, lesser headaches and less pain for my lower back.
but I've hurt my ankle and my recent run is last mon. my runs has been infrequent now and I can feel my body is acting up....yes, i cannot slp well at night too
so just do exercise that move ur whole body so blood will rush everywhere and flush off the nasty stuff that make u feel bad
