use a VPN, if you are torrenting, speeds will be slow but atleast you are cloaked.

Mac is less likely to get infracted, but there is still a chance

Well I just gave a statement so I don't think I can comment anything more for now... Thanks everybody for your help and advise, I have chosen to keep the ssd for evidence and will purchase a second hand hdd on hwz marketplace. Yes indeed I think my case is like peanuts and I shouldn't report it but since it's already done lets just wait and see what's going to happen next

Update your router's firmware
change passwords.

You never know it can be someone living close to you and gained access to your home internet and used VPN to play around.

I don't think they will know my password.. I never gave them out and also how to check if my firmware is up to date? I'm using singtel aztech 7003-J

I did a malwarebyte scan on my mothers laptop and turns out that there are 0 infected files, as for phones we all use iPhone so it shouldn't be a problem because the Apple advisor said as long as we change our password and security questions we are fine
