Just found out today that even the flagship X9000C series have non-GigaBit LAN ports.

Hello all,
Need help for my X8500c, whenever I access YouTube. It always shows Please check your network connection.
Then for Google Play store, after I key in my email address and password, it always shows Network connectivity lost.
Is it my network really having problem?
But my other devices can run on the same network without problems. Sign....
Any advice for the above.
Thank you.

Don't worry, it's like the TV's fault. As long as your other wireless device, or wired LAN client device is about to hit the YouTube site fine, there's nothing wrong with your network.

I encounter the situation alike your s a few times also; I restart the YouTube app on the TV a few times then it worked already. Without me touching any configuration on my network.

In fact, I suspect the Android TV OS isn't that bug-free; it may even be the TV main platform having a lag issue reporting the hardware's network connection status to the Android apps (e.g. YouTube).

Okie, this one I dunno.

I went for LG 55UF850T at $2849. It has free gifts (32 TV and 3D blue ray player). The best price i got for Sony KD55X8500C is $2750.

Cos its cheaper? I know Gaincity can go down to 2600++ for the Sony too...

Hi Saintgtrill,
did the offer of free 32" TV still available when you bought this? Can share where you bought it too? Thank you.

If it's under BD, you get some points for using their BD OCBC card, so it's a good thing.

Yes, brought at comex.

Btw the orginal packaging comes with 2x 3d glasses and the one flix controller?
According to Sony specs, supplied accessories are RMT-TX100P remote and RMF-TX100E touch pad. No 3d glasses.

Went to the comex again today. The packaging comes with 2 3d glasses and the one flix controller.

But lol i change my mind from the 75 x8500c to the 65 x9300c. The picture and sound quality wins the x8500c in both. And the x9300c looks more class and elegant in design. Better suit my theme in my just brought resale flat after full renovation.

Bought at comex?

Where are the free gift and price?

The free gift are the normal stuff similar to what you got.

Although the 65 x9300c is a few hundred more in price then the 75 x8500c, the picture colour really look better since there is a glass panel (gorilla) and it ( x9300c) looks more vibrant when the 75/65 x8500c and 65 x9300c side by side. The sound is good, no need to spend additional money to buy a sound bar.

Initially wanted the big size tv, but after much thought, my living room size is 3.2m by 8m, the width as in 3.2m from the sofa to the feature wall, 75 a bit overkill.

No doubt the 65x9300c is a better tv compare to the rest of x8500c.

Although I could shift my sofa further away from the feature wall. I still keep my current distance of 2.7m eye to screen distance for my 75 inch x8500c. It was too big initially and I felt like moving back the sofa to 3.5m. But rest assured our eye will get used of it

Haha. You still can move back. I went to my house to measure, the wall to wall distance left 3m lol.... with the feature wall, left 2.85m

With the sofa back area left 2.4m to the screen, so decided back to 65inch.

My current rm is about 3.2m, resting from the bed, i am using 55inch already, its aready very big lol.. my eyes degree getting higher :) so was comparing that to my living room and decided 65 should be enough.
