He should address the issue once PMD start getting imported into SG. Either create the infrastructure or set certain rules. But they keep flip flopping on policies. Just like COVID 19. Look at CCK. Not <60% votes for PAP, also becoming dangerous ward going forward.

Agreed. Until now I still cannot see how our infrastructure is developing to support car lite and PMD/pedestrians friendly. Coupled with our population density keeps increasing doesn’t help.

Vivian had not much of a choice. He had to mirror the behavior of his opponents. With Chee, Vivian could bank on CSJ's "reputation", take a harder stance and get away with it.

With Jamus and the PSP candidate, Vivian had to appear cordial and measured. Otherwise he would come across as a bully. It's a fine line to walk and most of the time, Vivian would walk away as the winner. But alas, he met his match this time.

The Berita Harian report on on Raeesah was factual, non opinion, and only found in one day. Where as Strait Times spent a few days and editorial on Raeesah. It is a very sensitive issue.

Possibly almost all malay votes went to WP.

All this new team can do is manage the estate well. Zero in terms of enacting policies to help sinkies.

Some truth in this. What the WP MPs can do that the PAP candidates can't is the time spent on the ground. Build relationships, sit down and have a honest chit chat with the residents, and behave like a fellow human being.

How do you expect a former defence chief to kneel or speak respectfully to the residents? Not that NCM is disrespectful... it is just not in a general to portray that kind of body language and behavior.

Once WP sink roots like how TPL became synonymous with her residents, they will do well.

Nowadays it is harder to use tactics such as spreading falsehood, character assassination and smear campaign with 158th media. The 158th media is itself getting irrelevant.

Plus bread and butter issues such as high cost of living (housing cost, healthcare, food). Job instability(****, economy disruption and job discrimination).

Punggol could be the next. WP could start to do ground work in that area.

Punggol demography is similar to SK, if SK can fall, punggol can fall as well.

If G don’t care about cost of living, free flow of labour ****, flip flopping on policies, then I wonder what would happen to Pasir Ris punggol with they break the punggol portion from Pasir Ris. WP already one foot in at Punggol West.

The PE residents were misled by MIW tactics. Think was they claimed 22.5 million "missing" from the town council fund but never to confirm even after CC retirement. What a joke!
