SK former MP TSL isn’t doing a good job as well. Had my personal encountered with him on 2 occasions. My impression of him is petty negative.

The PMD saga is damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation.
If he didn’t ban the PMD, I think he may lose even more votes.
It is simply due to poor planning and this saga don’t not have started in the first place.

He should address the issue once PMD start getting imported into SG. Either create the infrastructure or set certain rules. But they keep flip flopping on policies. Just like COVID 19. Look at CCK. Not <60% votes for PAP, also becoming dangerous ward going forward.

From Malay friends. The whole community was very upset with PAP for kicking up a fuss over the Raeesah issue.

The Berita Harian report on on Raeesah was factual, non opinion, and only found in one day. Where as Strait Times spent a few days and editorial on Raeesah. It is a very sensitive issue.

Possibly almost all malay votes went to WP.

To be fair, the PAP big wigs did not play the issue as much as ch as I thought they would have. Ir was mainly done by their own supporters.

SK GRC is made up of 3 parcels:

SK-West (LPM) - The Columbarium issue didn't kick him out in last GE. But the food delivery on PMD issue have angered many. Partly because of PAP overall policies that so many people are doing food delivery for living.

SK-Ctrl (TSL) - We knew long ago he was already outcasted by own party for whatever reason. So I guess he wouldn't have the mood, heart, soul to manage his area any more. Hence dissatisfaction builds up.

PG-East (CC) - I believe the residents remember how he spread falsehood to win over from LLL. And after his victory he unveiled his health problem. People were shortchanged. And this sick chicken obviously wouldn't have the energy to run the TC.

I suspect because of palmer incident.

Ng teo masago shan probably retiring and pm lee have to pass baton soon, if ccs became next pm will be worst, very interesting to see next GE or GE 2030, smells the end of pap.

The talents pap get are mostly from saf which are not impressive to many

The ppl with young kids are in the most frustrated group n many r in sk.

Anyway this election changes nothing. Pap still has absolute power. At most i play nice for 2025 n get voted back. Then play punk for 2030. Rinse n repeat if i were pap.

2015 general election was due to Ah Gong effect

If that embarrassment was not bad enough, 4G man Ng Chee Meng and his team were thrown out of Sengkang GRC in what turned out to be the biggest PAP casualty. It was a strategic error not to pay serious attention to the WP team there.

Being young parents and displaying some of the most credible candidates, they connected with the residents so well that the voters saw them as their friends, neighbours and colleagues. The PAP just could not achieve that connection.

And Dr Lam Pin Min's presence in the team must have made matters worse as he turned out to be the target board of the e-scooter affair.
