Just want to check, will I still be able to use the phone for data while I’m on a call under Giga?

This is bad. Are all MVNOs like that?

Actually should be fine for most people. How many of us need to surf the internet while on a call? StarHub has to make a difference between their StarHub line and Giga! line to justify the price difference. This is one of the differences.

Anyone faced issues with receiving OTP SMS after porting in with giga? I am unable to receive Facebook/Instagram login verification OTP SMS. Not sure if it is FB/IG issue or a giga issue.

I don’t have problem receiving OTP.

Yes, you should sign up with Circles Life or MyRepublic if you want crystal clear calls and surf the internet at the same time using VoLTE. Circles Life and MyRepublic plans are the cheapest and with the lowest 4G latency in Singapore. No horse run. Jurong640 can confirm on the latency

cannot decide between 18 for 40gb or 25 for 45gb. any advice?

Can try the 18 for 40 first. If not enough data or talktime then upgrade.
But note it's one way street; if you get 25 for 45, you can't get 18 for 40 unless u port out and back in.
If you sign 25 for 45, no way to downgrade to 18 for 40 also.

Yes you can switch later, roll over max is 2x your monthly allowance so 80GB. Take note if you switch plans, rollover from previous month is forfeited.

Apparently, there's no VoLTE if using latest Pixel phones with M1. So user beware.

Ok... But you know where I am driving at right? Haha

Yes, me too. Encouraging folks to convert to M1 and I think we are doing a good job too.

M1 please notice us... maybe can give some benefits such as free phone plan etc.

M1 wan sui!!! M1 the cheapest

You cannot serve and call on Giga plans. Certified and confirmed true as it is on 3G with no VoLTE and I tested it myself. You can ask other people.

Do you want to receive a call and try to search for something but cannot find in the end due to cannot surf internet?

Or use it as internet hotspot but got cut off internet with a call?

Use M1 and it's MNVO like Circles Life and MyRepublic where both have VoLTE, can surf and call at the same time.

Only Starhub and Singtel mvnos does not have Volte. Voice calls will be on 3G. Only MyRepublic, Circles.life and Geenet has Volte, voice calls on 4G

Alright I will consider those plans. Thanks!
