No leh. My current current renew is on 25th May and I successfully requested for new 5G Physical Sim to be delivered to me on 25th morning.
is there an option be delivered earlier like few days before the next renewal?

I believe they have a roughly 2 weeks period from each day where you can choose delivery.

I was not able to request for the 5G sim card now, it kept showing error and i think can only do it after the plan is officially converted to 5G after ur renewal date.

or did anyone manage to request the 5G sim card already?
Mine shows a delivery fee, not free. :s22:

Not free. Essentially $2 per SIM Card delivery. Their system handles it by phone number and I arranged 2 SIM for 2 numbers delivered on the same timing and yes i pay the associated $4.

Hmm.. $1 per esim generation based on terms and conditions. But FAQ stated there "may" be a fee incurred for each sim swap.

Was hoping they can give 1x complimentary esim swap every year or so..

Fair that people change phone every few years and some people change phone every year.
So far I only see that GOMO is given free eSIM transfer by reuse the QR.

As for the new 5G service by GIGA, it should be 5G SA as they did stated new 5G SIM card or eSIM. Hope more MNVO switch to 5G SA network rather than the current 5G NSA.

Unfortunately, we won't really know the true cost of the sim swap till someone itchy hand go try and report back.

Still dislike the way telco handle eSim. It's like they found some other thing to milk and getting people to pay for their system maintenance
I can understand the cost for physical SIM cause its physical goods that need setup and delivery.
Sg telco milking us, some nations provided free eSIM transfer via the iPhone or Android eSIM setting menu page in built. Sg being sg is all about money.

As Giga has not come out and affirm how they are implementing eSim changes when we need to change device, please do note it may be really troublesome to change device with eSim use. You don't get to just enter eSim profile in new device and voila it will work. With Physical SIM it's simple and immediate by just swapping Sim to new device.

If my phone doesn't have esim, to be able to use 5G, I will need to request for physical card?

So it means that charges are waived but not delivery fees.
Okay, surprisingly there is someone manning the FB chat, fastest response ever.
Charges are waived for both eSIM & physical SIM, but physical SIM requires a $2.04 delivery fee.
Request through Giga app, right side bar > SIM Services > Request 5G Physical SIM/Swap to eSIM.
