it's going to waste a lot of battery if the phone keep searching for 5G. it seems like the 5G sim card does not help either.

So as per everyone's feedback, 5G is still not working.
End of the day, Giga's 5G isn't exactly working as per previous when it was initially released, no point to sign up/obtain 5G plans/SIM cards then.

Well. My existing 4G plans are getting the free 5G upgrade. Just change to the Physical Sim and activate 5G SA option on device. If have 5G good. If not, life goes on with 4G. At least I still get the free monthly 2GB data roam in MY. Overall plan costs remains the same.

Seems like their 5G still isn't widely available. I bought the 5G add-on last month to test out the coverage at my new flat at Bukit Batok. Haven't been to places island wide but from what I have observed there is 5G signal within the vicinity of Lot One and Westmall malls especially at the food courts.

Since I couldn't fully utilise the add-on, I contacted their CSO via the app to request for a refund which they agreed and refunded in the form of gigabucks. I'm using iPhone 13 PM.

StarHub/M1’s 5G coverage probably the worst in SG, even SIMBA seems to be better.
