StarHub 5G coverage still cannot match SingTel 5G. Maybe give them time to improve the coverage, should be better by 2025.So far after using my current Giga 5G eSIM for a fortnight, its a mixed bag as I can't get 5G inside most buildings indoor. Even at home with open window also about 2 bars. Certain mall basement can get full bar though..
Should by right fall back to 5G NSA then 4G. On MRT depends on which MRT line and telcos. When it falls back to 4G I get 3-4 (full) bars though.
I am on giga 5G SA. Turning off SA on my Samsung S24 Ultra always falls back to 4G.
On MRT almost always on 4G..
Huh? Really. StarHub 5G should be okay but of course cannot match SingTel 5G. Overground with my SingTel SIM ONLY is almost all 5GSame for overground on EWL eastbound..
I am porting over to Singtel 5G in 4 days time thanksStarHub 5G coverage still cannot match SingTel 5G. Maybe give them time to improve the coverage, should be better by 2025.

I was on train from City Hall to Bedok and throughout has been consistently 4G.Huh? Really. StarHub 5G should be okay but of course cannot match SingTel 5G. Overground with my SingTel SIM ONLY is almost all 5G

By July should be this sequence:
5G SA —> 5G NSA —> 4G
If have 5G SA definitely will have 5G NSA, it won’t shown on the status bar as usually is just 5G, just that in the phone setting should have 5G stand-alone toggle. If you off the toggle and still connect to 5G then is 5G NSA. you will see the signal bar searching and reconnect will you toggle the 5G SA option.Do Giga use 5G NSA? I also never seen it. I rather Giga fall back to NSA than 4G. At least is less crowded.
On android device you can tell if it's SA or NSAIf have 5G SA definitely will have 5G NSA, it won’t shown on the status bar as usually is just 5G, just that in the phone setting should have 5G stand-alone toggle. On my Samsung S24 Ultra, turning off SA option immediately switches to 4G and vice versa. So don't think NSA 5G is working well for Giga..If have 5G SA definitely will have 5G NSA, it won’t shown on the status bar as usually is just 5G, just that in the phone setting should have 5G stand-alone toggle. Or maybe NSA doesn't exist at allOn my Samsung S24 Ultra, turning off SA option immediately switches to 4G and vice versa. So don't think NSA 5G is working well for Giga..
isn't GIGA 5G SA?On my Samsung S24 Ultra, turning off SA option immediately switches to 4G and vice versa. So don't think NSA 5G is working well for Giga..
Yes Giga is now SA but used to be on NSA in its infancy..isn't GIGA 5G SA?
Sim status on my phone states NR, so does GIGA website https://www.giga.com.sg/TnC
3.30.1 The giga! 5G Standalone (“SA”) is a service which enables mobile data access on 5G SA network at no extra cost to customers.

Or are they like M1, currently only have 5G SA + 4G?Or maybe NSA doesn't exist at all
I do experience 5G NSA on circles life (M1) on Samsung S23. You can tell.if it is a SA or NSA by the 5G iconOr are they like M1, currently only have 5G SA + 4G?
The upcoming removal of 3G on 31 July 2024 from all main telcos, so no need to mention.
Can we confirm these:
SH/M1: 5G SA + 4G
ST: 5G SA + 5G NSA + 4G
SIMBA: 5G NSA + 4G
I thought M1 always say their is “true 5G” which is the first to introduce 5G SA when their 5G launched as they issued with only 5G SIM Card, then all the iPhone 12 series got remove from M1 5G certified devices as that only support 5G NSA. It’s was an issue back then.I do experience 5G NSA on circles life (M1) on Samsung S23. You can tell.if it is a SA or NSA by the 5G icon
West is always bad on starhub. DK whyJust did a round island tour today and I have to say the entire SLE and TPE stretch of SG has great giga 5G signal. Entire BKE was 4G throughout and PIE was good on the east and getting worst towards the west.
