6. BTW the food at Xiang Xiang is really fantastic. Much better than 太二. And cheap. Membership is free which gives good discounts on food. Additionally if you upfront put a deposit amount, you get additional dollar to enjoy - for example my case I paid $300 and get $350 meal value (and it was utilised to pay for today’s meal and for subsequent meals. There are other even more attractive plans, eg $500 get $600 value)
I also had Xiang Xiang over long weekend with extended family. TBH only their signature stir fried pork with green pepper and their sausage bacon fried rice impress me. Other dishes all look spicy (with red chilli spammed all over) but they are all like level 1 heat. I feel the competing Chinese restaurant to the left of mosque street Xiang Xiang had better dish for the other dishes compared as I had them on another occasion.

I can't take too spicy hot (and I think you can specify the level of hotness you want). To all members of our family, food was very unique and very good (queues and wait times were crazy yesterday).

And I need to try that other restaurant you recommended too.

My regular company SingTel mobile couldn’t even give me a signal inside the restaurant throughout the entire dinner (what the heck). Suspect SingTel suffered a failure this evening (but there is no news on it).
This is just probably lack of cell booster for Singtel or the building priorities starhub / M1 / Simba signal or simply just a simple coverage issue.

Previously was on Singtel mvno and working in a building where it is named after starhub. Singtel signal simply sucks here. No data in toilet , no signal in foodcourt.

Glad you enjoyed your dinner :)

I know right, some workplaces actually paid money to install those things in the office buildings to improve the connection. Since it is not bound by law and companies may pay for it, why do it for free?

Have you tried rebooting your phone?
tried everything already, which is why in the end i ended up with a disconnected network asking me to redo esim, which then prompted me to pay again. screw them, enough of their nonsense. i had ported out already, and those JLB online chat agents or nonsense havent even response. Their fb is full of complains about their esim connectivity and network problem.
Suggest everyone here to reconsider giga be it new customer porting over or current consumer thinking to change to esim, they dont seemed to care after esim, and also increment of their plan pricing.

What phone and model you using? Perhaps is a one off case cos it was a seamless transition to giga 5G eSIM for me last month. Or perhaps I'm the one off example lol?

Perhaps their building management didn't allow those competing telcos to install signal booster. It gonna look really bad imagine M1 and Singtel network faring better than StarHub own infra if they got investor visitors coming.

Same goes for Singtel Comcentre. The other networks don’t really work in the building.
during the TPG free trial, I was able to get mobile signal inside a Singtel datacentre - those secured building with no windows on the outside

recently I got a simba line - sometimes totally no signal in my home study room :s13:
