Apple always needs some push factor to "motivate" it to align with industry standards. But the funny thing is, Apple was part of the consortium that developed USB-C.

How? Contact giga loGot my sim card since 24/08, today got email that number is ported, but on giga app, number is still listed as the temp number...... how? lol
Apple's RCS implementation is based on the RCS standard specifications, and likely they will require Telco support like how it was with MMS. Google's RCS implementation includes additional features from the standard specifications and does not require telco support.I am surprised that apple is including it, after turning down google for so long.
Alr tried. LolHow? Contact giga lo

Beta users should be able to tell if this is working or still have to wait?IOS 18
Beta ios18 user can use 5G already. Just that because bank app have compatibility issue, some people like me are waiting for official ios 18. But it should be soon, In September, when iPhone release after 9.9.Beta users should be able to tell if this is working or still have to wait?
If I am on giga, I would have been able to report this.
What I meant was I am on iOS 18 Beta but not with giga. So I am not able to test. But those on iOS 18 beta now and with giga. Is 5G really working?Beta ios18 user can use 5G already. Is it only me, I noticed last two weeks 5G is pretty crappy? I almost never complained this bad. I had to switch to 4G for the smoothness
R U on iPhone? If so, 5G not supported yet as mentioned on their websiteAnyone living in the very west area? Recently port over to Giga on 5G plan, but phone rarely on 5G, most of the time on 4G and no VoLTE some more. Really terrible, if 3G complete shutdown then cannot make receive calls.
Still not settled after like 2-3 months with Apple as new iPhone 16 is coming really soon.R U on iPhone? If so, 5G not supported yet as mentioned on their website
I hear say hear say it bcos, instead of using SH main profile for apple, giga go and create its own so need apple to approve. But till date no news.Still not settled after like 2-3 months with Apple as new iPhone 16 is coming really soon.
They can do it with 5G on main SH, I don’t see any reason to have issue with 5G on giga, even those MVNO with SH also not issue with 5G.![]()
