anyone knows if our maxinfinity uses static IP or dynamic?
seem to me that its static.

wireless speed for DLINK DVG-N5402SP is terrible

can only manage max 15mbps up and down

until i give up and hook up my previous TP-link 300mbps wireless N router to the Dlink port and disable Dlink wireless lan.

Now i can achieved over 50+mbps download and 40+mbps uplink with the setup.. (with range extender to my other rooms as well)

kind of useless wireless speed in the dlink router which cant even achieve 50% of subscribed speed

unless direct lan hook up, the near 100mbps can be achieve. but too bad, all devices in my home now is wireless

anyone know if we can uses our own wireless router to hook up the ONT?
Do you think Starhub will allows it?

U will c bottleneck lol. 802.11g max speed of 54Mbps suffice for a 50Mbps plan...

wow! what era liao still got people saying this. :s22:

theoretically - yes, its suffice

reality - no, it might not even even kiss 1/2 of the 50Mbps.

RFNet? They are known as a System Integrator mainly and rebrand OEM wifi products.
Your friend working there?

nope >_> she go and search for wifi Repeator when some helpdesk say she need one.. now i cant get her mind of this thing.

i am quite sure there is some issue with using this thing on comsumer network products.

you can still call them to change if you are not satisified with the huawei performance since you are on 100Mbps.

After many days of calls and complains, SH finally agree to change to Dlink for me. Hope the result will be better.

need some guidance on installing network printer after changing to SH fibre.

i know my printer's IP address and have changed it accordingly in the Printers options, but i am still unable to 'see' it in my network.

Am i missing something?
