Bryant_16, the router's capabilities make a huge difference.

The following is a wifi result using the Apple Extreme Gen 6 and a Mac, same room, 300m plan, local speedtest (intention was to test the wifi capabilities, not StarHub's international speed).

Apple AirPort Extreme (802.11ac) Reviewed - Wireless Performance-more, Closing - SmallNetBuilder

is it the same router?

Yes, it is.

seems like the Apple is the worst performing among the other ACs router available in the market.

- kinda pathetic

at $258, it is not a value to performance router either

overpriced. No hard feelings.

I don't make it, sell it, or feel the need to convince anyone to buy it. My performance graph is clearly better than what smallnetbuilder experienced, perhaps as a result of different firmware. Either way, I'm happy with what I bought and what I paid. No hard feelings at all. :)

Just wanna check with you guys, is it ok to have 2 Fibre TP in my house? I installed the first one in a pretty bad position, so instead of paying some money to shift it, I think its just better to buy another fibre plan

My wireless router shouldn't be too lousy, only 12mbs download speed. Any settings I can do to the router?

Previously on Starhub cable broadband, now on 100mbs fibre Starhub broadband.

OpenNet will reject the request. No choice but to pay to relocate...

Np. Just dislike the idea of how "Apple" users kept telling ppl "apple" here and there but hid the truth of its cons.

Imo, there is no reason to keep telling people you are using macbook plus apple router. There is no reason to. It only shows that you are trying to persuade people to invest $ in an inferior product.

I don't own stock in Apple and am too old to care what people use. :) The reason I state what I'm using is that experience has taught me that the environment used for testing has an impact on test results. Quite candidly, I really don't care what anyone uses. Though I'm told that Ubuntu's pretty good.

Is it normal for the IPv6 address to stop working after 2 hours from booting the D-Link router that Starhub provided? Happened yesterday and today already.

anyone has any idea why I am still getting the 'waiting for <websitename to load' pause for 5-10 secs before pages load.
