alright. thanks for your help.

saw from marketplace asus n56u bnib going for like $70 only.assuming i get it and use it as my main router, remove the dir 868l (not for repeater too), would it be a wise choice? considering its just wireless N. but i usually check my dlink web interface, most of my devices are connected through N, because of the short 5.ghz range.

or should just go all the way for ac68u? :) hahaha

hey guys. how does a homeplug work? technically, it's a power line repeater..?

was reading through this forum, and saw this Sineoji thread. seems like the reviews of it are pretty good, their support services is quite prompt too!

It uses your home power line to carry network packets.

yup, Sineoji service is really good imo. Their powerplugs are pretty decent as well, if not - the best.

then again, Powerplug relies greatly on your home electrical wiring. Lousy wiring = lousy input / frequent DCs.

DON'T off your router and modem. the first day of installation, everything was good, next day all crash. SH reasoning is because when installing, it is a temporary connection. nxt day all haywire as SH backend havent complete the order. after the first day, i've been constantly facing weak signal with the dir 868l.

Think something is wrong with your set

As well as, you can always log in to router page via wireless.
