Calculate the time and cost of HSR right horx..

Summary abit..
Time almost similar as bus to TMS cos HSR to TMS oso.
HSR need to take U-Bus to Taoyuan then HSR to TMS

Cost is gonna be slightly more.
HSR from Taoyuan to Taipei is NT$175, U-Bus from airport to Taoyuan HSR Station is NT$30..
Bus is NT125/pax

If for the experience, i rather you take longer distance..

I know you book room..Must warn u incase u have some tots about HSR..

Ya, lands at T1..After u clear immigration and out of the doors near xray machine, turn left and walk before turning right and down a long escalator..Will have signs to guide..

Yes, if u plenty of time, take sky train to T2 n take bus oso can.

I dun use the travellator. Come out turn left, see the lift.
I take the lift directly down to b1 level where the bus is.

Congrats on ur hotel booking... u will fall in love with their beds (super nice), their bathtubs, their unlimited free tibits & their services~

They also have this weight machine at their lobby so that you can weight your luggage a day before you depart so that you still have chances to purchase "add on" if your luggage was overweight.

Add on my 2cent opinion :
Check what time will the bus arrive XMD cause 5pm at taiwan will look like 7-8pm at Singapore. So you might also want to put into consideration on the traveling timing as well. If small money can buy you more time, buy it! Cause you can see more and taste more.. which is absolutely worth it~

Bus To Taoyuan HSR, HSR to TMS then Metro to Ximen Station.

We can minus off that part from TMS to Ximen Station.

Bus takes around 45mins on most of my trips..Justme flight is either landing in the early morning or early noon so traffic is not a major concern.

U-Bus is about 25mins to Taoyuan, HSR is about 20mins to TMS. Both without adding in waiting time.

Looking at this..Cant really see hw much time saved..

i think via bus is good i always take bus from airport

The diff in time is not going to be an hour. Thus simply not worth paying like 5 bucks more for train tix etc.

So why not instead just take bus when u just carry your lugguage up the bus n down to metro or taxi to destination once. Or you prefer to carry up to the ubus to hsr, then hsr in taipei roll to metro to xmd station?

Which is more convenient to you n make more sense?

For me is bo bian as from where i usually travel has no bus to taoyuan airport, thus HSR is the one and only mode of transport that i use.

there is only 3 buses that go to tms.. and 1 ubus that go to hsr st..
