Yes. My rig is also >10kg. Got the standard motherboard, gfx card, big HSF and 4 harddisk and 1 SSD.

After I put the PC on top, I find that it is the best spot if you have space constraint.

Just saw your idle CPU temps @ 33C at ambient of 29C non-aircon. Not bad for a non-aircon room. No OC for yr Xeon?

That one is idle. Close all your browsers and whatever, you may see temperature drop liao.

My this Xeon cannot overclock one. When I do normal work, with all the browsers, Excel, etc running, like now :

Ambient 29degC and cpu is about 37degC and gfx card is 40degC.

I'm using a Deepcool Tesseract with 2 stock 120mm fans. I have no graphics card as of yet, waiting for it to arrive. I connect my DVI to my mobo, so Im using the i5 graphics processor.

Yes I turned them back 90 deg I followed the instructions on the intel booklet.

I scared to run stresstest as idle temp already high it might be pushed too much

Help you enlarge it.

Where is your casing located in the room? 2 fan stock fan sucking air in or pushing air out?

Oh I didn't realize simple tasks like that causes the CPU temps to rise that much.

May i employ all your expert opinion on an affordable yet good thermal paste to get?
Could you also suggest places to get them(convenience) and the rough price i should be paying? amazon would be good if theres free shipping!

Hi, recently got h100i. 2nd hand tgt good TIM.

However Cpu Temp min = 38

Max 41 - 41 for idle

Is it okay ?

read some other forums, it takes time for TIM to settle down..?

Im not in an AC room. Outside w fan.

Very normal. In fact quite good. Remember ambient temperature around there is fine.

Hi guys,

New to this thread.

Here are my quick details:

CPU: Load 90C
Idle 50C

GPU: Load 80C
Idle 45C

These figures should be ok right? Maybe the CPU is a little on the warm side for load but should not be a problem right? They say max temp is 105C for the i5-2500k.

Are those temperature readings in an aircon room?
