If let's said I sell a 1k strike for a year. 1 year later on the last day if tsla price is 1050, do I need to come out money to closed the position? Cox sometimes I see above the strike price on expired date still need to pay some $ to closed the position. Not sure how they caculateFor bulls with spare $$ looking for lower risk/reward trade ideas, current prices actually provide for some great opportunities. For example, one can sell a 1k strike put expiring Jan 2023 (exactly 1 year) for more than $23k premium.
If price close above 1k in Jan 2023 (likely scenario), that's already more than 23% return in a year. If not, most would be happy to buy at less than $770 per share cost basis in 2023!
Next, use this $23k to buy 23 shares immediately or even leap calls (if you are feeling lucky) to further increase potential returns.

On expiry (market close). When the options is otm. You do not need to close the position. Your broker will automatically close it at $0 cost.If let's said I sell a 1k strike for a year. 1 year later on the last day if tsla price is 1050, do I need to come out money to closed the position? 10 or 15 years later, you think the price will be more than now?Tesla now still can buy?
that depends on how tesla/ E Musk developed itself ....10 or 15 years later, you think the price will be more than now?

this is very likely if BTC not able to go above by Monday open.Oh cool spaceship has landed again. 890-900 support line. Nice to nibble abit if reach there. If macro environment push down somemore can nibble more. Now is the time to load ammunition. Market down a few years also good. Those impatient will run crying haha. Time to seperate the veterans and the kiddos.
