Based on RRP,
1 box=6pieces=62 dollars.
So 14 pairs=28pieces=200 dollars.

You zhuan Dao slightly but not exactly a fab deal.

Didnt know people just sell the loose pieces lenses. (Not supposed to be allowed, in spore)

Ya, i saw the "1 box=6pieces=62 dollars" brochure too. Nono, its not sold to me individually. He doesnt have enough stock now, which ya I agree its DUH why you didnt say so when promoting it to me. He got his staff to go another shop to bring this pair back for me, and told me return on Tues which he will give me the remaining pieces. I know its quite risky because he may not honour it and I LL stuck thumb le. I have been frequenting this shop for probably 10 years, started with specs and then slowly more contact lenses. Which is why I am prepared (and taking the risk) to trust him. Btw, he initially pressed $240 on his calculator wan, i shake head asking more discount , He press press, show me $220. I am cheapo Singaporean you see, i ask more. He laughed and say last price liao, press press calculator $200.

I did ask if there are any other brands/models he can recommend. He brought out a few other brands' brochures, but briefly say all about same de, and he will recommend Bioinfity...

Hahaha really good for you then! You have a very nice optometrist/optician to give you at such a price.
Biofinity also one of the better monthly lenses in the market too.

But earlier you were saying not the fab deal. There is better deals around? Physical shop? For contact lenses I prefer to visit a shop to be safe, in Singapore.

I'm not related to contactlens.sg.

I had recently bought two boxes of lenses from them, after which I came across this thread where I read about their customers not receiving their orders after months of waiting. Their Facebook page is also inundated by similar messages.

Naturally I got worried and was prepared to kiss my money goodbye.

But lo and behold, I received my contact lenses today (in slightly less than two weeks)! So, they have not folded after all.

I'm not encouraging anyone to patronise contactlens.sg (though their prices are quite competitive). But I thought I should share my experiences, in the light of the growing number of comments about them not doing right by their customers.

But earlier you were saying not the fab deal. There is better deals around? Physical shop? For contact lenses I prefer to visit a shop to be safe, in Singapore.

They have been in the Queensway shopping centre since 90s I believe, and I go to them for almost 10yrs le. The boss looks sounds like typical middle age ah beng sales if u know what I mean.
The other staff (pretty quite xmm) whom tested my eyes on the machine, I wonder if she or the boss have the qualifications to do it. Pardon my ignorance, but I sit there stare into the machine while she press a few buttons few secs done....

with your degree, i think still able to go for disposables.
best to go to a physical store to have your sight tested and have the lenses dispensed to have the best results

Not that i know of. Highest is 275 for astig.

You will have to go for permanent/conventional ones. There a number/most of shops in Singapore that does it too. Can pop in to enquire.

if your glasses astig is =4.00, wont need -4.00 for CL. in fact will make it worse.
if you must do with a -4.00 astig for CL, must be permanent lenses.
