Oh thanks for the clarification. I jus checked:

Signature at Yishun offer promotion with special ang bao worth $18,888 (applicable for all level 2 units and all units at stack 4, 18 & 37)

I suppose those are the bad units that you are talking about? Wah if got so many stacks that are bad, who buys those units ultimately eh?

Actually we have a preferred unit at criterion already, just can't seem to bring myself to throw the cheque in hehe. Somemore Im stil waiting for my hdb appt for Bidadari in June... Not sure to go for Bidadari bto or criterion...

Maybe when TOP bigger angbao $28888 to clear them all!! Haha.

Drove past the landsite today and went to the opposite BTO's MSCP to take a look.

Both Criterion and Signature is looking good! Though i must say that Signature's blocks are quite closely packed together, makes me wonder about the air flow.. Criterion's layout seems abit better in terms of ventilation.

But from the MSCP where i was standing, I can see quite clearly the interior of the Criterion units that are facing the road/BTO. Not much privacy for those particular stacks.

But seldom pple will loiter at MSCP to spy opp blocks. Shouldn't be too bad.

So how? Decided which project to buy?

Both project are similar.Location wise or quality.
Both are about 30% sold. Going to TOP soon.. Signature Jul this year and Criterion i think Dec.
Its comes down to price. CDL definitely not giving discounts. Signature keep coming with promo.
Agents told me Visionaire and Parc life is selling hot ..
I wonder how the market like after both TOP. Will there be a price war since both not doing well..

Parc life still price still very strong.

Just out of curiosity.
How much does an agent gain from these two units? 2%?
When i look at URA, the psf for parc life can be as low as $711
Stupid qns.. does it mean if you buy >750 (u buying on the high side??)
Project Name Lowest Price ($psf) # in the Month
NORTHWAVE 754
PARC LIFE 711
SIGNATURE AT YISHUN 732
THE CRITERION 728

Worst Not Over for Singapore Property, Billionaire Kwek Says , CDL

“A lot depends on the oversupply and the penalties we have to pay if we don’t sell in a certain time,” Kwek said. “In light of the lower interest environment the developer will try to hold on for as long as possible, after a certain point when he has no choice he will have to cut the price.”

https://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/worst-not-over-singapore-developers-045708971.html

Does that mean we will be expecting a discount coming??

After 8 months of agonizing consideration and planning, my gf and I have finally dropped our cheque to book a unit at The Criterion! Thanks to everyone who posted on this thread, all your inputs have helped us make an informed (i hope) decision.
