LCD have very bad ghosting issue, LG UI is no where as refined as Samsung. No SPEN, the auto cam/video mode is as bad as it can be, only manual mode still ok but I just want to point and shoot.

Just ask my friend again how is her V20, she said not bad but still prefer Samsung lol.

Better screen edges... the Note 7's edge was more comfortable to hold... the S7e is the worst... the S8+ is ok... but the more squarish form factor of the Note series probably aids in if better feel...

S7 edge screen is a hell. Easily your fingers and palm would trigger the screen. I had numerous time unable to select an app as it detects my palm by the edge. End up, need to hold the phone such that it my palm is no longer holding the phone.

Reminds me of how Steve Job shows everyone how he holds the iphone...

S7 edge screen is a hell. Easily your fingers and palm would trigger the screen. I had numerous time unable to select an app as it detects my palm by the edge. End up, need to hold the phone such that it my palm is no longer holding the phone.

Reminds me of how Steve Job shows everyone how he holds the iphone...

The Note 7 didn't have this issue... so I'm not expecting it for the Note 8... the S8+ that I bought also doesn't have this issue...

Most important thing for edge devices is probably palm rejection. Samsung deserved to be whacked if they didn't make this feature as priority.

I also bought already. From aliexpress.. those clear soft type.. use first and decide a better one later..

i see. Sure, not sure if tempered glass will work on n8. its always not a good fit for curved screen phones

Ya lor. Now Samsung doesn't push new stuff, like Apple recycle old parts but Apple at least working on a much better processors. Honestly, last 2-3 years Apple seem to have innovated better than Samsung.

I'm changing phone cos contract 2 years liao, reasons for buying is just the dual camera and battery refresh. Oh yeah, also cos of the storage is now 64gb and got microSD lol

From Aliexpress. I'm not waiting until actual day, get the phone then no case, i won't bring my new phone out. Haven't bought any SP yet cos not exactly sure if it will fit.
