both ok la. zeiss is just blue protect lenses. same concept.
main purpose is to reduce ur glare and hope it helps ur eye in future. u try prevencia lo, since the cut off from blue is noticeably more than zeiss. zeiss one more natural, maybe u will still find computer glaring.

zeiss blue protect vs prevencia, is it prevencia has more yellowish lens? prevencia has more purplish reflection?

Was quoted $260 for this crizal promo, any comments if the transitions are any good?

http://www.crizal.com.sg/promotions

they are using the transition technology by the company transition. it is good. the technology comparable or may even be better than photofusion technology i feel. summarise for you, good to use la hahah. dont go for the cheaper ones in the market. now the promo quite worth i think, 1 for 1.

Usually I prefer to walk in the shop has more frames on open shelves that I can take and try myself. Those frames that are inside the counter window try lesser as need to trouble them to take out.

Somehow I think prevencia makes the glasses looks like non coated since 3rd person will always see blue reflections. Those cheap non multicoated lens also have similar relfections except they are non colored. Not sure if anyone have the same thoughts.

yes, your observation is right. prevencia has too much relection on their coating, can just say its normal only, not up to premium level yet. The purple reflection is too heavy too annoying and adds glare to your eyes. Better think twice oh.

Normally if we bring our frame to the shop to make the lenses, will we be charged for the lenses only or will we need to pay for the eye exam as well..?

i try before, wont add glare. it aactually makes things dimmer than usual. the reflection is just seen more purplish from 3rd person at certain angles.
personal view still alright, no extra glare felt. just that purplish coating more obvious than our normal green/blue multicoat.

Eye exam need to pay? I thought buy lens or frame they will sure check your eyes, should be included in the lens/frame price already.

Actually the yellowish looks a bit like lens after few years become old that kind of old yellowish, people may think the lens is old.

jervin88, you wear your prevencia got 3rd person/friends comment on your lens?

I seldom find people have prevencia lens on the streets. The purple is reflection quite noticeable. You photo maybe just nice that angle not much purple reflection.

The heavy purple reflection meant less light passes through the lenses thus adding more glare into our eyes. Better to just get clear lenses, the less noticeable the reflection the better.
