Should I wait for Speedy Tuesday edition or just hoot a hesalite Speedy moonwatch now?

limited edition speedys are a gimmick and resale value suck ttm.

yeah, yeah, to those detractors who say "oh, i won't sell my watch", that's beside the point here. it's your hard-earned blood, sweat & tears money after all!

to quote infamous watch dealer tom bolt in notorious watch documentary TIME MACHINES a decade ago "your watch is worth what you can go out and sell it for!". damn true!!

why pay premium only to have it evaporate the moment you hand your money over? DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!

so unless one is truly infatuated with a particular piece, watch (pun fully intended) that value retention carefully.

a watch lover can be a smart one too if he collects the right pieces. :)

2 different thing.

One is classic.
One is a remake

Depends on what you want.
Same movement. Limited edition
2x the price of a speedy.

eh... technically, both are homages.

the true original classic is the one that came with the column wheel cal 321 movement. and to be even stricter, no "professional" on the dial.

No la doubt he wear to msia or overseas haha

Think era different ah, in our current days it should be like an AP as the modern grail?

your dad got balls!

he dares to wear it to less safe places like jb, when on tour in certain countries, etc?

how does one bargain or ask for discount while wearing a full gold rolex day-date with diamonds?! :s11:

Hahaha I think the original moon watch didn't had it and probably they keep it that way.

Legends has it, some PP and AP also can't hack so I think hacking is not everything bah

Is the whole package

hear hear! huat ah!!

but bro AyuReady, if i wanna play backhacking, i can do so 24/7 on an uber value-for-money (ie. cheap) watch with non-hacking seconds movement like the seiko 7s26 on an skx007/009 or the orient 46943 on mako I/ray I.

if an affordable movement like seiko 4r36 has winding & hacking but not overpriced luxury watches, no matter how "iconic" - that's a bit too rich to stomach. won't anyone feel short-changed? :s11:

must be the the other entrance bah. the entrance from the main road always feature a steep staircase up a hill.

Bro Reikizi went from main entrance, which is from the steep slope. The other entrance is from the bus stop, where u go up a flight of stairs and u can see a buddha statue under a tree. #sorryforot
