Isn't watch appreciation a form of enjoying/appreciating life?
Why is there a need of definition of appreciating life?

Just thinking what you said.

Some find appreciating life goes back to the basis without the Internet... hence not checking the forum.

Bro slow mo almost gets me. Let's not digress. Will always drop by to see what you guys are up to time to time :D

Seen quite a few Rolex here but hardly SD4k, any comments on this or any reasons for the 'lack' of interest? Just wondering since got recently discontinued again.

:s11:

I'm still keen actually haha. May go to a shop and try it out first before purchasing. Just worried about the fit of the strap. Whether it will accommodate my skinny wrist well or not.

Also feels wrong to have the excellent bracelet left in the box unworn. Don't know if I will go back to the bracelet shortly after getting the everest band. Switching back and forth on a Rolex is also quite a pain lol.

Since there are talks about the old Rolex bracelet and clasp.

The clasp is stamped. Locking mechanism is quite flimsy compared to the current ones. Non solid end link that "shakes" a bit. Drilled lugs. Jubilee bracelet is not solid as well. No more lume.

you mean besides the sd4k being thicker, heftier and cost more than your sub/sub-date?

fitzai bro DXMachina has one and he swears by it! he even forgo the DSSD, although his powerlifter physique can easily take the heft.

the majority of owners who posted their rolex divers here seem to want to stand slightly apart from the usual rolex crowd with their choice of subs:

- cyclops-free, no date 114060/14060m subs that go back to the basic tool watch vibes, aesthetics & dial symmetry, and
- cyclops-free 116600 sd4k with the mil-sub bezel.

Ah thanks bro, yes I am looking at a 'cyclops-free'. Either a Sub or SD4k. I do not buy watches often so was thinking just go for the ONE

yup. there it is! you can't get anymore "uncle" rolex than that!! a 2 tone rolex datejust on a folded end links and folded links jubilee bracelet!! :s13:

when worn lose over the wrist, any hand movement accentuates the already flimsy, folded end links, folded links and stamped metal "tin can" clasp (my 16570 also has a similar-style tin can clasp - *shudder*) that's attached to a holes case to create the "rolex rattle".

here's more description from bro BallGag and bro pwillie: http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/f...read-part-12-a-5545305-631.html#post107224245

so, anyone brave enough to wear one in public? instant unclehood no matter what's your age! i also siam far away! you won't see me wearing it  forever 25 ~ alan tam. :D
