I would get a speedy. :)

just personal preference between the two watches - one is a classic at half the price of the other, which could be a classic in time to come.

There are hardly any choices amongst gents that can be more cliched than the speedy when it comes to getting a chrono or omega, just like submariner to the yuppie venturing into rolex.

But seriously, what the heck! Get what appeals to u!
