lets say with a budget of less than 9k

what Pam models are readily available for purchase at boutique and ADs?

all the basic entry PAMs seem to be sold out, with a long waiting list.

with my budget which models can i consider? preferably smaller models... prefer a clean design with no date,no seethrough caseback

What's the difference between squale watch and Steinhart/stowa

only know steinhart/stowa are german brands made in Germany

squale is italian brand though watches are now made in Switzerland.
Squale used to make watch cases last time before moving on to make watches.

Movement wise both source from ETA based movements i think.:s22:

Get a Pam 000. Just wait out, bound to have one with patience. Your last paragraph totally described it. You can read my less than a year review

Finally after 2 long months! Jizzed a lil when I saw the msg.

@spartanz
May I know what is preventing u from looking at the preown pams? I think is a good way to start as u don't have to pay a premium for a new piece as compared to a preown and don't lose so much if u decide to flip it or upgrade to another watch.

It gives u more flexibility imo.if u want a Piece of mind then just get from a reputable preown shop. I don't usually advice buying from owners directly although is cheaper.

Huh GS with leather strap = fail, mind explaining why???

I can only speculate that he thinks the leather strap with its tail sticking inwards was installed incorrectly, which would be the case for pin buckle.

He is probably unfamiliar with deployant clasps that are installed such that the tail sticks inwards.

Just sayin...

Is it a must to get automatic watches? Or is Quartz just find? I realised all of the watches posted here at automatic.

From my understanding, Automatic requires adjusting of timing and/or date as and when the accuracy is off and as for quartz is when the battery weakens or die then you need adjust.

Of course there are other factors to consider as well. Depends on your perspective
