Can i check, you indicate that you have not yet venture into wall socket charging. Was that not recommended by them?

Interesting that they have casing for their powerbank too. hmm i go taobao look for casing.

Would the silicon case retain heat and shorten the lifespan of the battery ?

Saw this Great Electronic Expo 2014 brochure in my mailbox advertising Redmi @ $168 (UP. $299) selling at Expo this week.

I bet these are the same fake ones sold at SLS.

yes, there are fake xiaomi products, like fake handphones & fake powerbanks

The casing is fine. It does not "body-hug" the powerbank. There are allowance for heat to dissipate.

Worry Not. As for the charging, that is a personal preferences. I am sure there are alot of powerbank users that charges their power bank with wall charger and survived.

I went to XiaoMi website, saw there is registration. Question: Do I need to open an account to purchase or registration is for other things ?

You need to register so as to have an account to purchase on line. And a PayPal account is needed to pay online (unless this has been superceded recently). Check XiaoMi's Facebook for details.

The service center is in the central, Clark quay.
I have a good experience with the service center. Sent mi3 for repair.took less than thirty minutes to replace the motherboard. Just had my dinner and phone is ready for collection

I can't seem to turn off the Haptic Feedback when using the keyboard.

Under 'Settings>Language & Input', i'm using Google Keyboard. Under 'Settings>Sound', I've turn off Vibrate on Touch.

I can't find any other options.

Its an Android bug.. Happened to non Xiaomi android device.. Known cure would be doing factory reset..
