When it is better value for money than Lumia 525 @ $185, it really makes everyone else look like overpriced trash.

BTW even if you sign subsidized ex phone like Note 3 on ex plan like $98 / mth for 2 years you end up paying about the same compared to buy uncontracted Note 3 on 2x $78 / mth for 1 year for the same service. Bo hua to sign subsidized phone one loh. Sign $0 phone like redmi with any 2 year plan is gonna be a lot more chop carrot head.

The only bad thing of this redmi phone is that it only has 4GB of internal storage. Think i shall wait for the Redmi 1S to come, has 8GB storage and has a snapdragon quad processor.

You too used to phones with high amount of internal storage bro. My current phone the internal storage is less than 4GB. Getting this phone will be considered an upgrade.

Well..... my current phone is samsung galaxy which only also has 4GB but available storage only has 1GB and after loading my apps which is only about 20+ apps, it starts to show storage insufficient warning. Prepare for the worst scenario, since apps sizes nowadays are getting larger.

It retails as the same as its MediaTek predecessor, RMB$799 . Prices might not be that much of difference when it reach SG. Well, things might change.
