From the reviews, the setback on redMi is the reflective screen n the lack of backlit on the 3 major buttons, n not for major gaming. So it is still price very low for a product.

Thanks for the reply.

what do you mean by kb mouse to the micro usb port?

how about FM receiver? any idea?

USB-OTG = USB on-the-go Port.

It provides an adapter for your mobile device with Micro USB Ports to read normal sized USB Connection for files transfer and keyboard usage.

It was seen for mass market initially back in 2010 for Nokia N8 ...

Back in 2010, I was already using USB-OTG to play my AVI/MP4 movies on a 2TB External HDD through the N8 to my 32" TV via HDMI output from the N8.

Hope this helps.

visit their site, Xiaomi Singapore ... they should have the online order up by Friday morning at 10am.

any idea how it will work? is it like those online limited quantity launches in China, HK & Taiwan where you have to camp in front of the screen and click pressing and see your luck?

If cannot get, how long before they bring in new stock? I wonder how "hot" will this launch be...don't think it will as hot as Taiwan & HK? lol...

reflective screen? hmm will lowering the brightness help? I don't need 100% brightness indoors where it is mostly used anyways.

Lack of backlit, hmm sorry if wols, but isn't that like standard lol? and pictures on the xiaomi website seem to show a red backlit...

Just hope that the bugs discovered in some of the reviews seen are already taken care of by Xiaomi already... :)

Slack, u can go google reviews online, those r the 2 setbacks most talked about. Using a matt screen protector will help for the screen. Backlit light, maybe carry along torchlight? :p

Its still a cool budget phone which i will get, wanna a big screen dual sim for replacing my iphone5
