I see many people cursing on Xiaomi Singapore Facebook. Its just a phone for the start, and I noticed many of them seem to have no idea about Xiaomi operations, they are merely trying to ride on a hype which they don't know head or tail.
Sour grapes IMO.

The ultimate is that there are actually people who link this to Singapore government and GE 2016! ROFL

I don know how true. Pls read for entertainment purpose only.. There are ppl linking Xiaomi with Temasek. Thus if ppl link it to Singapore goverment and Ge 2016. No surprise.

Scolding is a good way to instill brand conscience into ppl mind. It's free publicity for xiaomi. It really works. U got to say the boss and the marketing team is very very smart and efficient.

1. They are gaining hundreds of likes at the fb page today. It's means ppl notice and are staying with Xiaomi page. More will join on before 27 feb.
2. Since no one dislike the page, it means this is a successful campaign which show Singaporean can talk only. They don even dare to press dislike. Riot online? I don think so.
3. Redmi is going down the history as the 2nd fastest phone sold out in spore. It will be a case studies and a good one.

when ppl are angry, the next person they met, the conversation will be

A: online ppl are scolding xiaomi.. it's a riot online now! I can't purchase the redmi today. their website can't even take the proper order.. their Facebook page so many ppl scolding them

B: What is xiaomi? what u talking?

A: they make phone la. it's only $169.. dual sim leh.. (conversation goes on for a few min as A began to intro the redmi)...

B: Wah.. so cheap.. I go their Facebook see.

The angrier u are, the better publicity they get..
