To those who has recently bought from Xiaomi @ $169 from Qoo10 (Pantech), have you guys already gotten your phone (either pick up yourself or delivery) ?

So far I have not gotten mine yet. Though they mentioned on the web, pickup or delivery only after 6th Mar'14. I have contacted the seller and not heard from them yet.

So what's your situation ?

With Qoo10, if they have not delivered or refused to communicate with you, you can opt to have Qoo10 intervene which may give you the right to cancel your order assuming it is not claimed to have been delivered.

Nice glossy look and gets rid of the protruding border of the cam hole.. i.e. making the back completely flat. How come they got this glossy black back cover? Is it available in the xiaomi sg website?

All the accessories for both mi3 and redmi seems to be sold out in the SG website.

I think there is a screenshot icon in the toggle switch inside the notification bar.

I found out that I need to allow app to start at bootup in the MIUI security settings.

Hi guys,

For those who owns a Redmi, can you help test if Volume Locker app startup at boot after you restart the phone? It doesn't seems to work on my set. No issue when I try the app on my Samsung Ace Duos though.

Yup, slide down toggles> more> move toggles to priority list.

1) the FM radio is not working?

2) the APP cant install in the SD card ?

Out of curiosity, I google for wireless charging in taobao. and TADA! I must say the chineses are quite smart in these reserve engineering... haha
Smart to hide the cable inside the phone casing together with the receiver module.

Plug in a earphone before using the FM radio as is uses the earphone wire as antenna.

Android 4.2 does not allow you to install apps on the SD card.

Actually it works without antennas ,but weak signals,
ok for some channels, which is good for a phone.
Acty more than our FM broadcast pretty screwed these days.

Indeed. I remember Lei Jun made an introduction before that the Xiaomi phones do not rely on earphones as antena for radio. Not sure how true though, because my Redmi stays intact as backup still...

To me without the earphones, the signals are too weak to be of any use. Alternatively just listen to online streaming radio channels.
