I can't call myself to be a photographer but from 2005-2011, I took photos very frequently in various light conditions and did a lot of photo editing using photoshop.

I can see that your picture is full of digital noise even in such bright light condition, meaning that the image sensor is of low quality and any picture taken in low light conditions will be so full of "noise" that it cannot make it.

haha, $169 cannot expect anything of high quality. As long as phone can use, surf, no crash, not laggy, it is good enough. $169.... heeee

I havent buy, thinking of Redmi note :)

Thanks, tried the method and I am able to root my redmi on 13.0 rom.

Did you do the CWM method with only the root-stable.zip ?

or Did you do the TWRP method with two zip files(the above and HM1SG-TWRP-2.5.0.0-stas2z.zip) ?

Also, are you on SG RedMi set?

I tried the CWM method with single root-stable.zip on SG handset and got error of "Invalid OTA package, missing scatter"

v13.0 rom SG RedMi Handset Rooted

1. Install HM1SG-TWRP-2.5.0.0-stas2z.zip to gain TWRP. Remove battery to power off the phone, and then press Down Button + Power Button (without accidentally restarting the phone as you normally would or you'll have to repeat this process) to access to TWRP.

2. Then under TWRP, install root-stable.zip and phone was rooted.

Cannot expect much from a $169 phone right.

In photography, good lightning and steady hands can come in handy. Coming from the iPhone , the HDR feature on the Redmi can help with the over and under exposure situations.

I think that being able to take a picture even if it is less than ideal is better than being caught without a camera to capture the moment at all.

I do see at times the newspaper photos don't always come out perfect but what is important is that they capture the moment.

Tks bro. Its good to know.

For me, its good enough as a phone camera. I think 4R prints should suffice.

The problem is dunoe real anot as Xiaomi biz model dun sell through middlemen like Groupon. They also try to prevent resellers from buying so much too.

Ya lor. I just checked aliexpress and there are quite a number selling there, all looks so real but ended up being fake since the sound quality is quite inferior.

I will wait for the official Xiaomi deal, pay a bit more still at least know it is real.
