you can add bookmark or shortcut to home:

open default browser, go bookmark tab, long press the page you want to add, select Add shortcut to home from the sub-menu. Done.

Missed my Fedex delivery yesterday evening. Called them to re-deliver with a specific timing but only can do it Thursday onwards. Today & tomorrow cannot arrange specific timing as they got many Xiaomi phones to deliver by 16 Apr. They will come anytime till 10pm and Fedex have sub out to other delivery company to help in delivery. So I just have to wait.

Fedex orders update at 8.21am now on fedex vehicle for delivery.

I understand we can root our redmi via replacing the stock recovery to TWRP recovery.

Is there any way to root w/o replacing the stock recovery? I thought once the stock recovery is replaced and if we can't flash back to stock recovery, the warranty will be void.

Or is there a way to flash back to stock recovery easily?

I need root for Link2SD if not, the 4GB memory will be full with just a few installation.

Fedex orders update at 8.21am now on fedex vehicle for delivery.

Always like updates provided by FEDEX, compared to UPS. Am lucky to have the latest 2 shipment via FEDEX, even their dispatch also sub-out one.

The previous ones from UPS I don't bother to look at their updating website at all. Even received item more than 1 day or more liao.. the status will still put at Changi or other places.

I assume this was bought in Singapore?? What MIUI version are you running?

My Redmi finally crash on me after a week. Had bootloop suddenly when surfing and listening Google Music..turn out batt on phone still same issue.. Either boot loop or stuck at startup screen.. Den decided to remove my 64gb SanDisk Ultra class 10 SD card. Vola..problem solve.

Reconfrim if SDcard is cultprit. Put SD card back. Then problem arises..now I know why officially they say only support 32gb.

yup.. am using it for almost a month..

MIUI Version: MIUI-JHBSGBA13.0

after a reboot, battery out and in, now when it searches GPS it states MIUI system.. zzzz
