anyone has problems connecting the phone thru wifi using starhub routers?
DVG-N5402SP..

If you mean connect as hooking up Redmi with 5402SP through the password verification stage, then my answer is NO. I can connect to the router.

However if you meant having proper data transmission subsequently, then yes. My 5402SP router will not load pics in FB app, just text being displayed. Latency is high, Speed test won't show signs of connection issues(20-30Mpbs easy), but web browser surfing will see high latency or at times not load at all. The FB app being the most apparent sign that wifi has issues. Troubleshooted and concluded that it's most like the hardware Wifi radio part of the router that's the culprit, it's almost 2 years old now. It happens with not just Redmi, but iphone, android tablet as well. Have made plans to purchase a new router in the near future and using my back up router in bridge mode for now.

I read that stable MIUI rom's needs to be manually rooted when required, but MIUI also offers beta roms which allows you root access as part of beta firmware for developers keen to explore. One difference between stable and beta is where the latter has access to MIUI's root permission Toggle which you mentioned. The same access is disabled on stable rom versions via MIUI menu hence the need to perform rooting process via alternative means like framaroot , or twrp.

Just a tip, for those that are rooted and using app2sd.

Yesterday i move apps to sd and restarted my phone, all my apps were gone. LOL. End up i went into SuperSU, i realised the device didn't grant root permission during boot. So enable that guys. It worked for me.

Installed around 5gb of apps, everything's working very well. Noticing accelerating battery drain, could be too many apps liao.

yeah did that, got an app with an "8" icon, works pretty well. Got notifications when matches are starting.
Anyone thinks that posts beginning with Anyone should be moved to lost and found instead?

How to move apps to sd card
see page one. once rooted, install apps like System App Remover. I used the one with red rubbish bin. You have to mess with it, you're bound to run into problems. Ask again when u do.
